JORGE SÁNCHEZ

Jorge’s has represented property owners in contract and land use litigation, helped union members enforce contractual rights and sued the City for arresting day laborers.

Jorge has been lead counsel in complex litigation, representing whistleblowers under the False Claims Act, litigating vote dilution claims under the Voting Rights Act, certifying a class of foreign workers under the civil provisions of the Racketeering Influence and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

He won pension, health, and severance benefits for clients under the Employment Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and handled race, sex, and disability discrimination cases on behalf of numerous clients

Jorge earned his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law and his B.A. from Brown University. Jorge has served on the boards of the Illinois ACLU and the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and the Little Village Economic Development Corporation.
